About Us

We began our organization May of 1950; originally called the Association of Retired Teachers. By July, 15, 1950, the name was changed to the Association of Retired Teachers of Fort Worth and Tarrant County.  The name was eventually changed to Fort Worth Retired School Employees Association on September 21, 1988, when Dr. Ruth Camerson Amend was our President.
